Online banking, despite its convenience, also poses a number of risks. Metrobank wanted to remind its clients to take extra precautions in protecting their accounts through a Fraud Awareness video.

Fraud Awareness Video

Brief

In compliance with the Manual of Regulations for Banks (MORB), Metrobank implemented a fraud awareness program that would serve as a safety reminder for clients, specifically the owners of Metrobank cards and frequent users of e-channels. 

For this program, we were tasked with creating a short video that explained several types of fraud and how to avoid them.

Process & Results

The main challenge for this program was making fraud easy to understand. Given its large following, we recommended the company use a short animated video for higher engagement and better retention among clients.

The trick was to subtly introduce the risk of fraud without raising too much alarm over this delicate issue. The result was a light, one-minute video that showcased the do’s and don’ts of securing a bank account - easy to follow and highly actionable tips.
