DHL is the world’s leading logistics company with an expertise in delivering a wide array of packages to over 220 countries around the globe. In the Philippines, the company has cultivated a strong market presence by catering to the shipping needs of small and medium-sized enterprises and a few corporate partners.
DHL has already successfully established itself as a top-of-mind international shipping service provider. But even though the company receives a sizable amount of leads and inquiries, these do not always translate into sales. DHL needed a digital campaign that targeted specific leads and helped potential customers better understand the services provided.
DHL was getting many leads from their online campaigns but many inquiries weren’t qualifying so there was a drop off in terms of conversions. In talking to DHL we determined that a sharper, more crystalized campaign was needed to help potential customers better understand DHL’s services.
We attended an orientation seminar for shippers and SMEs and did data gathering and research. We created a campaign based on DHL’s existing message “your window to the world” and targeted entrepreneurs who needed reliable international shipping, among others.
This focus and delineation of DHL’s services, told through clear and engaging statics, GIFs and infographics, and managed through smart social media targeting and spending, led to a higher conversion rate and significant savings when compared to previous ad spends.
